Roof Repair

Licensed. Insured. GAF Master Elite Certified.
True Force Roofing finds the actual source of the problem, shows you what we found, and fixes it so you don't see us again for the same issue.
Our crews work with every major roofing material you'll find in North Central Florida: asphalt shingles, metal panels, slate, tile, and modified bitumen flat systems. We'll diagnose the issue, explain what happened in language that actually makes sense, and lay out your options before we charge you a dollar.
If it's a quick fix, we'll often complete it on the first visit. If it's something bigger, we'll give you an honest assessment of whether repair makes sense or whether you're better off planning for replacement.

Signs Your Roof Needs Repair
Some roof problems are obvious. Others hide until they become expensive. Here's what to watch for:
- Cracked, curled, or missing shingles. Any gaps in the shingle layer let water reach the underlayment.
- Granule loss. If you're finding shingle granules in your gutters or at the bottom of downspouts, your shingles are aging faster than expected.
- Dark streaks or algae growth. More than just cosmetic. Algae can degrade shingle binding over time.
- Ceiling or wall stains. Interior water marks usually mean something is already wrong above the ceiling.
- Higher energy bills. A compromised roof can dump conditioned air straight into your attic.
- Flashing damage. Bent, lifted, or rusted flashing around chimneys, vents, and valleys is a common leak source.
- Sagging. A visibly sagging roof line is a structural warning sign, not a maintenance item.
Why DIY Roof Repair Is a Bad Idea
We get it. You're handy, you've watched YouTube videos, and you're tempted to grab a ladder and a tube of roofing cement. Before you do, consider a few things.
Roofs are dangerous. Falls from residential roofs kill people every year in Florida. Professional crews use harnesses, anchors, and training you don't have access to.
Wrong materials make it worse. Using the wrong sealant or an incompatible patch creates a bigger leak three months later when the patch fails.
Hidden damage stays hidden. A leak at one spot on the ceiling usually means water has been running along the deck for a while before it showed up. Finding the actual source requires experience.
Warranty implications. DIY repairs can void manufacturer warranties on your shingles and your underlayment.
We'd rather do it right the first time than come fix somebody else's well-intentioned mistake later.
